Libertus 900 is our new anniversary beer that has been specially developed to commemorate 900 years of Norbertines.

By combining the barley (Belgium) with grape juice (France) and a dry hopping with the noble hop varieties, including Saaz (Czech Republic), we have summarized the entire “life of Norbertus” in one beer.

Libertus 900 is 9% AVB, 18°Plato, 15 EBU, blond, sparkling and a very fresh aftertaste. A beer with a very special innovative taste, refermented in the bottle and has a shelf life of 2 years. Best to drink at 7°C.

Flaska från Hops’N More drucken med ölföreningen. Liknar en bra trippel, elegant, vitt vin, spritsig, druvor. Mycket gott

Bottle 33cl. @home poured into a tulip glass. Hazy deep golden colour, good frothy white head, goodretention, fair lacing. Aroma sweet malt, grain, tangerine, yeast. Taste medium sweet and bitter, and some light acidity, malty, grain, white grapes, white wine, spicy notes, yeast. Medium to full-body, oily texture, soft carbonation, sweetbitter aftertaste, wine-like impression, not completely convincing, okay.

Fles gedeeld door Inoven. Het is een troebel oranje bruin bier met een volle beige schuim. Het heeft een aroma van rozijnen. De smaak is vol, moutig, zacht zoet en fruitig en wat gistachtig.

330ml bottle, Sophie's Beer Store. Hazy golden appearance, large white head with a fine foam. Sugary sweet aroma. Smooth palate, fine carbonation with a sugary sweet character, sweet Belgian yeast coming through. Unfortunately not much grape influence, but it's generally quite pleasant.

330ml bottle from Chez Sophie in Shrewsbury: BB April 2023. Poured into a Westmalle chalice at home on 28th August 2021. Smooth white head on a misty old golden body. Yeasty nose and taste, dank hops in the aroma too. There is a mild wine like feel to this flavour wise, but not enough to get excited about, just subtle hints. Gets a little hop bitter in the finish, overall an interesting and challenging beer, liked it.
