Five guys on a mission, Shrewsbury Beer Share in Chez Sophie: 9th Aug 2021. Cheers for this Simon, our penultimate beer of the evening. 660ml bottle at 14% ABV. Off-white head on a deep brown body. Boozy and great, the strongest and most interesting Mild I've come across so far (and I've a few over the years).

Bomber @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, August '21. Thanks Simon for bringing the heavy hitters tonight. Pours dark brown, foamy off-white head. Aroma delivers the marshmallow, with additional some vanilla and almond. Taste builds on this, nice harmony of flavours and doesn't appear artificial and overly sweet like a certain marshmallow porter I won't name. ABV seems to have been raised a little since it was first brewed a couple of years ago, now at 14% and it does taste boozy. Great to share, but can't imagine sinking a full bottle of this.

Tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours dark brown, almost black, with very fine cream foam. Aroma is rich and sweet, like vanilla, molasses, Bourbon, nuts. Body is definitely thick, with some ticking carbonation. Taste is intensely sweet, with also quite bitterness. Final is long and intense, warning.

Keg @ 57 Thomas Street, Manchester. Mid copper-red but more of the former and is slightly hazy. Has a small off-white head. Chocolate is in its nose, with syrupy dark malts. Marshmallow flavours and found through its sticky sugars.
