Bottle at home from the bumper bundle I picked up from the brewery. Good pour and an oh so classic English IPA. Huge bitterness that perfectly cut across the palate. This is my kind of beer.

Bottle from Morrisons. Dark clear gold with small white head. Malty and biscuit in aroma with light citrus, floral and spicy undertone. Taste is bitter, citrus zest, biscuit, grapefruit in the middle gives some nice relief from the bitterness. Light to medium bodied, dry. Not normally a big fan of bold bitter gold beers but I enjoyed this one. Thankfully not too astringent and a decent fruitiness.

Rocky white head left a spotty cover on an unclear pale amber coloured body. Malt & fruity aroma. Medium bodied, with a lively back. Malt, caramel, English hops & bitter citrussy tastes with a pine & grapefruit finish. It's good.

[50cl bottle from Morrison's, Festival Park, Stoke.] A very pale amber pour with a fast fading white head and gentle carbonation; biscuity aroma with some honey; fresh summer fruit taste with strawberries and raspberries balanced by some sour grains and a lingering grassy bitterness. A pleasant change from the average golden ale.

Bottle from The Farm Shop, M5 Gloucester Services. Pours a clear golden colour with a thinnish throthy white head. Aromas of floral hops and biscuits. Taste has more floral notes, a touch of peach with a citrus pithy bitterness on the finish. Medium body and smooth slightly oily mouthfeel. Nice if maybe a little too bitter for me personally.
