(Bottle) Black colour with rocky, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with dark chocolate, black rye bread, caramel, raisins, liquorice, black-currant and pine needles. Malty, roasted, hoppy taste with notes of dark chocolate, liquorice, caramel, orange peel, grapefruit, black-currant, raisins, black rye bread, grapefruit, burnt sugar and a generous citric, piney bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness. Really tasty and well made black IPA. Very nice.

Bottle shared at Chris & Ruth’s pre-GBBF Shindig 2017 - Part 2. A hazy dark orange brown beer with a small most good lasting beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, bitter hops, some soy sauce. Taste of dark roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, quite bitter hops, okay!

Bottle from Systembolaget. Dark brown, almost black body with a big, fluffy beige head. Aroma of light roasted dark malt, pine, hint of citric and something that reminds me of forest. Flavor is sweetish dark malt, light roasted, slightly fruity, distinct pine and balanced bitterness. Medium body (quite balanced) and rather bitter in aftertaste. A nice BIPA without pushing any limits.

Bottled 330ml. Black coloured, medium sized beige head, hoppy nose. Light roasted malt, citrusy hoppy, notes of caramel and touch of spices with pretty high carbonation. Also soft alcohol shows up.
