Clear amber with almost no head. Aroma is peach, caramel, maybe a bit mould, earth, bread. Taste is yeast forward bitter malt and a bit fruityness. Quite drinkable, though heavy, medium body. Ok if not for the mould...

(bottle, 33cl) Clear, golden colour with a firm medium-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Fruity and slightly resiny hoppy aroma with notes of pineapple, grapefruit and pear, backed by slightly bready and sugary cara-malt. Bitter-sweet flavour, medium to full bodied with a mild, well-carbonated mouthfeel. Slightly bready and caramelly malty base, also delicately syrupy with rounded fruity and resiny hops; bitter-sweet malty and present hoppy finish; the alcohol is well-embedded. Good one, not too fat and quite balanced. 19.IV.16

Bouteille: Deep golden, clear, big, stable and lacy off-white head; piney hops and soy-sauce in the bitter and caramelly nose; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour; surely medium bodied, dry and a bit tart and lingering piney and slightly caramelly finish. So far the best Bier from Hoppe…

Clear medium amber colour, tall frothy white to off-white head, good retention and lacing. Aroma sweet malt, fruity (orange, peach, pear), pine. Smooth mouthfeel, taste medium sweet and bitter, onset fruity, toffee, followed by pine and light citrus. Lingering smooth bitter finish with herbal notes and pine accents, medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Fresh and smooth ipa, good.

0.33 l bottle from ’Rudat’, best before October 2016. Clear, golden orange with a medium large, dense, stable, tan to white head. Sweetish, fruity and rather resiny aroma of orange marmelade, apricot, some honey, hemp and lots of pine. Sweet, fruity and very resiny taste of orange marmelade, mango, apricot, honey, a bit of caramel and massive pine, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, resiny finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very nice, but very malt-accented and a bit more fruitiness instead of pine would have been great.
