Cask @ William Withering, Telford. Clear copper with a creamy head. It's a smoothish light creamy-malty ale. Hops, and a low to mid bitter finish.

Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading. Amber-brown with a cream head and a light fizz. A little watery. Spicy and dry, there's definite toffee with some blackcurrant and booze. Possibly some citrus in there too. A little ragged round the edges but comes together reasonably well by the end. It's ok, and I'm always happy to get another Norn rate!

22/3/2018. Cask at the Wetherspoon Real Ale & Cider festival @ the Windmill, Stansted Airport. Pours dark amber with s small lasting just off-white head. Aroma of malt, hop, fruit, rye, caramel and a hint of chocolate. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Increasingly bitterness to finish. Decent.

Third of a pint in my local Wetherspoon pub on 17th March 2018 St Patrick's Day. Red hue to the brown/amber body, beige head with lacing. Rye esters dominated the nose and taste for me, some bitterness towards the finish with a mini citrus feel.
