Bottle courtesy of Mum and Keith, cheers!, had this at home Sunday 12th August 2018. Pours very light gold with a slim white head. Boiled sweets, a little hoppy at the end but it's not great, in fact I cannot see me drinking all of this. A6 A4 T4 P2 Ov10 2.6

330ml bottle from B&M Bargains: BBE Jul 18. Poured into a 'Purity' badged UK pint sleeve glass at home on 1st Mar 18. Lager like in looks, pale golden, clear and bright with a fast fading white head. Nice blend, semi-sweet malty base with a crisp hop bitterness throughout. Light citrus leanings in both the nose and flavour, malty/grainy backbone balances the brew out to give an easy drinking, refreshing Pale Ale, not an APA though, nowhere near enough hops.

Bottle from Oddbins. Appearance - golden with a very quickly disappearing head. Nose - honey and cereal. Taste - more honey nut cornflakes. Palate - close to medium bodied and tangy. Not the expected clean dry finish. Overall - sweeter than I expected for the style.

Bottle at home, from a local Co-Op, 20/02/16. Golden blonde with a decent off white covering. Nose is grain, toasted bread, lemon rind, caramel, popcorn, grassy. Taste comprises lemon zing, airy malt, light hops, straw, bread dough, citric sherbets. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Mediocre for style ... would re-class as a Golde tbh. Better than the buttery golde from this range ... at least this juan didn’t go down the sink!

Bottle at home in London - picked up at the Oddbins near Notting Hill Gate. Pours totally clear yellow-gold, lightly effervescent, with a creamy white head. The aroma suggests pasteurisation, with mild cabbage notes, some crispy cereal, hay, citrus rind. Light-medium sweet flavor with impressively nondeScript hop character, given that the beer is allegedly hopped with Nelson Sauvin, Motueka and Galaxy. Anyway. There’s some mild pithy citrus notes, slight grassy bitterness, cereal, simple pale bread. Light bodied with average carbonation. Crisp and brief on the finish, with a very neutral hop profile, mild pale malt sugars, hints of lemon peel, white grape, pine needles. It’s a perfectly drinkable beer, but it’s just very sterile; there’s no vibrancy to it.
