Cask half-pint in The All Nations on 15th July 2017. Clean and clear golden body, off-white crown. Aroma had a grainy feel, as did the taste, mild citrus note in the nose and flavour as well, dry finish: for me, one of the better Weetwood beers I’ve tried.

Golden with a creamy head. Has a light malty aroma and a small fruitiness.

Cask handpull at Ship & Mitre, Liverpool. It’s gold, obviously with a thin beige head. A strong golden beer in the Summer Lightning vane. In fact if you gave me this and said it was Summer Lightning I’d believe you. Some yeast on armoa, a bit sweet in mouth. Drying citrus hop on finish.

Cask, Old Harkers Arms, Chester. Who’s in da (oast) house ?! Golden colour, prominent malt in aroma and flavour. Some fruit and hops tussling. Drinkable but no cigar.

Cask at GBBF 2006. A yellow beer with a bubbly off-white head. The aroma is sweet grassy and hoppy, and the flavor is sweet malty with notes of hops and citrus, and towards the end also a light note of metal. The end is quite bitter, and the mouthfeel is thick and sticky.
