Bottle courtesy of Ryan, Merton Beer Festival, Oxon, Friday 24th February Dark chestnut with a light beige creamy textured head . Very smokey nose, smokey in the mouth also, quite soft mouthfeel. Perhaps a touch one dimensional. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov13 3.2

Bottle share at Merton BF 2017. Cola coloured lasting beige head. Smokey rubber smoke aroma. Hmm not sure about it. some light chocolate. dirty smoke. not a lot of body. this beer has been fire damaged. as Glen said. not a fan.

Hand-pulled half-pint at The Crown Inn, Oakengates on 30th Sep 2016. Dark brown with a ruby hue when held to a strong light, the head a beige coloured affair. Smoked ham, peat bog sort of aroma and taste, yet fairly sweet too. A strange one and fairly interesting.

Cask gravity at the St Albans BEER festival 2016. A deep red ruby brown coloured pour with a small light tan head. Aroma is big medicinal phenol, smokey phenols, band aid. Flavour is composed of brown sugars, toffee little strawberry jam, medicinal, tcp, jammy. Palate is medium sweet, lowish carbonation lingering phenols too much for me.
