8th Sep 2016: cask pint in a Blackpool Wetherspoons. Golden bodied, white topping. Hop centric but bland with a very subtle fruitiness if being kind: mildly bitter with a dry finish, disappointing really.

Cask @ Dirty Dick’s, Halifax. Golden-amber with a thick creamy head. Fairly light tasting, with an easy-drinking texture. Had a very mild berry-fruitiness in its nose, with a very small fruitiness in its taste.

Cask at the Crooked Billet, Wokingham. A pale golden colour with a tight white head; fresh hoppy aroma; crisp taste, refreshing finish; but little different to any other golden summer ale.
