Bottle. Golden beer color, very cleanly filtered, under a sudsy beer head. Smell is lightly hopped with notes of grapefruit and pineapple, with a bit of resin in the background. Despite the light hop nose, the texture is nicely sticky. Hop profile grows on my palate after this first sip. In fact hop bitterness grows more pronounced with each further sip. I was going to use this as an example of how smaller brewers cope with the demand for overdone hop bombs, but this scores highly on the hophead scale itself. I might wish this had some more malts for balance, but otherwise it’s a nice hop bomb in its own right.

12oz bottle, cheers Greg for this new State rate for me. Slight haze to the golden pour, white head that tried to hang around. Fairly sweet blend with more malts than hops in the nose and taste, liked it.

Draft @ Exile. Gold color with thin lasting head. Aroma is very floral with plenty of grain. Flavor follows with lots of floral hops, weak grain center. Bitterness is mild to moderate with a herbal aftertaste. Body is lighter and made closer to a session style.
