Golden, thin head. Lightly spicy hops on the nose and palate. Finish is juicy, a bit of pear...good stuff.

Cask, gravity at The Bell Inns Beer Festival, Lower Heyford, Oxfordshire, Friday 31st August 2012 Crystal clear with white head. Nice puncy aroma, grapefruit perhaps? Nice furriness on the tongue, little dry, light sweetness, very good beer. A6 A5 T7 P4 Ov13 3.5

9th Aug 2012: The lovely old ‘White Hart’ in Ellesmere, Shropshire. Hand-pulled pint. Very light golden body with a good white head. The nose was of floral hops and summer fruits, the taste followed the smell closely but with lightly baked shortbread biscuits in the blend. Medium bodied and ‘moreish’, I was driving though, so could only have the one (I’d already had a pint of Stonehouse Kingston Flyer KPA).

Cask-conditioned at the Gryphon, Bristol 18/08/2012. Deep gold in colour with a slight white head. Big, citrus hop aroma with some marmalade sweetness. Flavour had more orange, some biscuity malts and a lingering dry finish. Another good beer from Salopian.
