A hazed golden orange DIPA with a no head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light tropical fruits, light resinous notes, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light tropical fruits, OK. On tap at DC location.

16oz can from Tavour. Hazy yellow golden pour with a one finger fluffy head. Malty, bready aroma with light citrus and stone fruit notes. Taste is bread, mix of tropical and stone fruit, mild sweetness, thick, creamy with not much hop bitterness. Smooth.

16oz can pours a hazy yellow with some ringing white head. Nose has some fusel notes, apricots, peaches, mango. Flavor is boozy and fusel, canned peaches, apricots, melon. Finishes a little starchy and a little boozy. Pricks the tongue.

Fairly hazy deep amber and bronze coloured body with a thick, three to four centimetre tall rich tan and light brown head that stays afloat for a while. Aroma of syrup, honey, resin, pineapple, melons, deep rich malts and some light floral notes, but the alcohol and sweetness here are very evident, at least in the nose. Full-bodied; Rich, resinous, syrupy and sticky sweet real Imperial IPA that doesn't show much bitterness, but does show a ton of sweetness - both from fruits, but more from syrup, resin and plain caster sugar. Aftertaste is rich, with the malts still around, showing a ton of character, with a slight graininess noticeable and some light notes, but the hops are still stronger here of course, but in a very new school way, without a lot of bitterness, more fruity and resinous notes instead of the alpha acid blast. Overall, pretty nice, but perhaps too sticky, sweet and not bitter enough for the style - this is much more of an American Strong than an Imperial IPA to me, but pretty decent, local and fresh...not my favourite from Aslin, but not the worst either. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from the Department of Beer and Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 19-March-2021 for US$5,00 sampled at my house here in Washington on 04-April-2021.

Tap@Peders, Copenhagen (21/10/2021) - hazed golden yellow with a white head. Juicy fruity with notes of peach, mango, juicy fruity, sweet malts, medium body, solid hoppy finish. Lovely.
