Taking inspiration from our flagship beer, The Porter, we wanted to brew a truly sessionable London Porter.
What better way to create an effortlessly drinkable dark beer than to make it nitro. The resulting creaminess and smooth mouthfeel balance perfectly with the subtle roasted notes of coffee and chocolate.

(Draught at Queen's Head, King's Cross, London, 24 May 2022) Black colour with creamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with soft notes of chocolate and milky coffee. Malty, roasted taste with chocolate, milky coffee, liquorice, black bread and a balanced roasty bitterness in the finish. Medium body, smooth mouthfeel. A certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced porter. Very nice.

ABV: 4.4%. Clear dark black brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to light light heavy malty, toasted, roasted, chocolate, dark malt, light toffee - butterscotch. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, toasted, roasted, dark malt, toffee notes, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is oily - creamy and smooth, carbonation is soft. [20220429]

Keg at Derby Tap, 11/02/22. Black with a well presented lasting khaki head. Nose is mellow roast, raisins, chocolate, dried fruits. Taste comprises dark malts, cocoa powder, light charr, dates, figs. Medium bodied, fine massaging carbonation, light drying close. Not bad.
