Taking inspiration from our flagship beer, The Porter, we wanted to brew a truly sessionable London Porter.
What better way to create an effortlessly drinkable dark beer than to make it nitro. The resulting creaminess and smooth mouthfeel balance perfectly with the subtle roasted notes of coffee and chocolate.
The beer brings together the rich history and heritage of London Porters, with the modern techniques of brewing nitro beers. The result is a beer that is easy drinking, without sacrificing its character.

Draft at Vinny & Ted, Chalfont St Peter. Poured almost black in colour with an everlasting frothy off-white head. The aroma is roasty malt, light ashtray. The flavour is moderate sweet and liqourice bitter, with a smooth, rich, roasty, light ashtray, light milky lactose, light dry pepper spice, liqourice bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

A deep dark porter with a thick nitro mocha head. In aroma, nice chocolate malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, light coffee, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet chocolate malt with light coffee notes, light cereals, light mineral notes, pleasant and smooth. On tap at brewery.

Black beer, thick creamy head. Smells of toasty malt. Flavour has loads of malt, toasty and sweet. A little coffee, a touch of chocolate and cream. This doesn't do anything spectacular or have any massive flavours going on, it's just a really, really good stout.

Pours black, creamy white head. Scent is coffee, pure chocolate. Taste is light, fairly intense on the roastyness though (bitter, even a touch acidic by the roast) . Fine MF, definately shows it being a lower ABV. Yet pleasant due to the nitro. Drinkable and fairly balanced.
