Cremiger, sehr röstiger Beginn mit bitter-malzigem Kaffee. Schokolade, Kaffe, sehr trockener Hintergrund. Espresso, leicht alkoholisch, der Hopfen ist hintergründig, dennoch präsent. Langer malziger Nachgeschmack. 11/13/12/12/9/12

Bottle from Hopduvel. Cloudy black, huge, foamy, beige head. Aroma of fondant, espresso, wholemeal bread, Kahlúa, toast, chestnut, coffee bean, earth. Taste has sweetish fig & brambleberry in a thick roasted malt body (fondant & espresso notes) with a hint of sourish coffee bean. Earthy hoppy finish, somewhat umami, lingering coffee, toast & tobacco; hidden alcohol pointing toward coffee liqueur. Full body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Excellent coffee Porter.

0.33 l bottle from Spicy Days Webshop, Zagreb. Shared with PBF_Pivica and prof. Pryzbylewski. Dark brown to black, small beige head. Aroma is coffee, green and red pepper at first, roasty, tart dried fruit after awhile. Heavily roasty and burnt flavour. A bit harsh, still nice. Smooth. Very dry.

Poured from 330mL bottle. Black with small tan head. Very nice roast malt, coffee, touch of chocolate, hint of smoke and fruitiness from the roast. Solid.

330mL bottle, pours black with a small brown head. Nose brings out medium roasted malt, a little coffee, and a hint of molasses. Flavour is loaded with deep roast coffee, a hint of black liquorice, and heavily roasted malt. Wonderful dark roasted coffee and heavy roasted malt in general. My kind of porter.

Draught, 7.5% at Skaal Sønderborg. Sweet liquorice and coffee aroma. Black colour. Small dark brown head. The flavour has a distinct coffee note at first. A little ashy, but not bitter. Later comes a little raw liquorice, but the aftertaste also has more coffee. Hint of sweetness does not balance off the roasted notes, but helps the balance a bit.

Draught @ SKAAL Sønderborg. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy tan head. Clear aroma of malt, yeast and coffee, with touches of hops. Bitter, roasty and hoppy flavour with notes of malt and oats, and touches of yeast and coffee. Roasty and oaty aftertaste with estery touches. Decent.

330 ml bottle. Murky dark brown with a creamy mocha colored head. Ashes, cigar, tobacco, leather, earthy notes, burnt tires, licorice, robusta coffee, chocolate, lemon zest and lime. Dry hoppy bitterness, some malty sweetness. Full bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, long dry bitter finish. Really nice Porter, intense bitterness, full of complexity!
