Bottle: Poured pitch-black color stout with a medium size brown foamy head with OK retention and light lacing. Aroma of black chocolate notes with some light brandy notes. Taste is a wonderful mix of black chocolate notes, light roasted malt notes with some brandy notes and light warming alcohol notes. Body is pretty full with good carbonation and faint warming alcohol notes. Good mix of flavors with light Brandy notes.

A deep dark stout with a very thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, licorice, alcohol warmth and smooth bourbon. In mouth, a nice sweet chocolate malt with dark fruits, light peated notes, alcohol warmth, light bourbon barrel, very nice.

13/XI/21 - sample @ Billies Craft Beer Festival Day 2 (Waagnatie, Antwerp), BB: n/a (2021-1438) Thanks to the Brewver crew and other beer buddies for sharing today’s beers!
Clear black beer, no head, just a small rim of tiny beige brown bubbles at the edge of the glass. Aroma: sweet smell, lots of roasted notes, coffee, caramel, dark muscovado sugar, dried fruits, boozy impression, some dates and other dried fruits. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Tase: lots of alcohol, a bit malty, bitter, more roast. Aftertaste: hoppy, roasted, coffee, lots of alcohol, a bit oxidized, dry finish. Not sweet at all.
