On tap at Arendsnest, pours jet black with a small brown head. Aroma brings out lots of peated whiskey barrels, medium roast and a touch of sugars. Flavour is rich and peated, with intense smoked peat, whiskey barrel, medium roast and some gentle dark sugars. Dry, peated and rich. Wonderful.

Can @ Væskebalancen Bar. Pours pitch black with a small brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, dark chocolate, wood, peat, whisky. Flavor is quite sweet, rich roasted malt, caramel, dark chocolate, wood, peaty, whisky, some alcohol. Full body, soft carbonation, sweet finish with some warming alcohol. Smooth. 301022

44 cl can @ home. Batch #373: canned 25.10.2021, BBE 25.10.2021. Thanks olio! Aroma is rather musty with rye, licorice and mild peat. Flavour has strong peaty notes, salty licorice and mild ash. As N˚1, this is too stuffy as well – drinkability suffers. Worse than the N˚1, mostly due to drinkability issues.

Op tap bij The Scrapyard. De lactose-variant met amandelen. Ruikt direct een stuk zoeter, vanille, hint van marsepein, zoete koffie, caramel, gebrande mout, whisky, turf, maar wel een flink stuk minder dan No1, bitterzoete finish. Volle body. Ook erg goed.

Can at home, 12th March 2022. Pours black as death. Aroma is molasses, black treacle, barrel, whiskey and peat. Taste is complex, peat, liquor, barrel, wood, whisky, molasses, black treacle and caramel, light toasted almonds on the back end. It’s a triumph, fantastic barrel beer
