Bottle at home, cellared this one for over a year. Pours black as the night with a tan head. Nose is full on fruity, spicy rum, oak and chocolate, lovely. In the taste there’s something weird going on: behind the sea of chocolate/nougat/molassess, there’s something either tangy, tart or astringent, that’s kinda ruining the taste for me. Wait, is it mineral, perhaps? Saline, even? It’s extremely hard to ID, but it’s for sure there. I’m guessing it might be raisins that aged less-than-gracefully, but it might as well be process-based. I really dont know, which is annoying. Anyway, the body is medium to full, the carbonation is soft. It might be just me, but what I’ve had recently from the silver series were ok at best, which is certainly not what I’m used to.

Bottle, 330 ml shared with Miro and Max. Black with tan head. Chocolate, vanilla, some fruity notes, rum, brown sugar. Sweet. Soft texture. Medium+ bodied.

Vanilla and raisin on the nose. Medium body, creamy, sweet, boozy. Dark chocolate, fruity rum, roasty coffee. Smooth, nicely balanced. Very nice.

Pours black, small tanned head. Scent is full, roasty, sharp rum. Taste is full, roasty, chocolate. Medium intense on the rum. Full body, medium carbo. lovely, but not amazing.
