Based on Fraser’s multi gold medal winning APA recipe, this beer uses pale malt grain with some Munich Light malt to add caramel, honey and bread notes. Centennial, Mosaic and Zeus hops add some fruity punch. Sam (Chief Everything-else Officer ) said "Think Citrus, Piney and Tropical notes with a floral background and a taste so good you’re going to come back for a 2nd, 3rd, 4th…not forgetting to drink responsibly of course!” This is a beer that takes you back to the old-school style of APA – focused on great taste, not gimmicks.

Half-pint, cask, shared with Finn at Nags's Head. Close-to-clear amber body, clingy lacing from a covering pearl white head. Promising smell of bread-like malts and herbal hops. Mid-sweet malt-fruity taste profile, impacts of bread, ripe citrus, earth, and a piney touch towards a bittersweet tail. Medium bodied. Quite alright. (Reading 19.11.2021).

[Cask at the Alehouse, Reading.] A bright amber pour with a minimal white head; fresh currant leaf aroma; fresh leafy taste with tart fruit and then some spice; before a lengthy finish. Clean, crisp and very drinkable.
