Arrakis, home of the spice, greatest of treasure in the universe. And he who drinks it, drinks to our destiny. Saffron, coming from the desert region of old Persia, is by far the rarest of spices. Together with maracuja, they form an aromatic sour experience worthy of any noble house.

Bottle 0.75l, more than one year aged. Lightly cloudy, pale gold colored. AROMA- maracuja, sour tones, something interesting and unusual - saffron? FLAVOR- neutral, moderately sour, maracuja, something unusual and pleasant again. Medium bodied. Decent one, tasty.

0.3l tap. Murky orange small quickly disappearing head. Loads of saffron, nutmeg, hints of cinnamon, fennel seeds, coriander seeds, lactic acid, passion fruit, roses, lime juice, sauerkraut. Acidic sourness. Medium bodied, oily texture, soft carbonated, mild sour finish. Incredibly full of spices, well balanced and very tasty!

Huge light-yellowish head, stable over lemonjuice-coloured beer. Citrus, lemon, lemonpeel, lemonbalm, perfumey, and some strange unidentifiable spices; after some time, saffron is obvious. Soft sourish fruit - passion fruit with a pinch of saffron sourish cocktail. Mild lactic acid. Quite complex, if not as f.i. real lambic. Light body, refreshing. In the aftertaste, the saffron makes a comeback. Excellent. Though it is not as dry as Herberts' Dune, I'd say! Děkuji, Ladislave!

Tap at Za rohom, 29.10.2021. Med-thin body, medium carbonation. Very fresh feeling, I get lots of orange and general citruses besides passionfruit. Lots of juiciness, med-light sweetness, quite light sourness. Overall feels like a softly alcoholic orangade, very refreshing, easy drinking. Very good, even if the saffron bit is lost on me (I do not smell/taste it).

Tap at Zlý Časy at the Raven event. Murky dark yellow body, white head. Pleasant aroma mixing saffron and citric notes. Tart taste, medium body, mixing lactic notes, safron, some tropical background and citric touches. Again, very nice!
