Can from Aldi Supermarket, Salford. Golden with a head. Has a heavy cherry aroma and taste, fairly rich but also overbearing.

Can from Aldi Loco Works. It pours clear gold with a hint of rose and a thick, frothy white head. The aroma is intoxicating sweet cherry character, artificial/essence more than any real fruit character, candy, cherry tunes, almond purée, biscotti, Bakewell tart and icing sugar. The taste is rather unpleasant from the get go.... rather harsh, sharp, astringent, bitter, soapy, chemically vibes, straw, burnt grass, artificial cherry, cherry drops, soda water and then it gets spicy for some reason. Average body and moderate foamy carbonation. Looks quite nice and the aroma is passable, if artificial. The taste is a mix of tire fire/hot trash and a chemical spill. Drain pour.

[44cl can from Aldi, Bracknell.] A pale amber pour with a trace of pink and a loose white head; aroma of ground almonds; bitter almond taste to start (hopefully not arsenic), then some strong cherry essence and some spice that catches the back of the throat. Overall a rather unpleasant beer.

Can from Aldi. Golden in colour, with a slight, white, head and moderate carbonation. Plenty of sweet cherry character, solid lager malts, gentle finish. Ok as a novelty.
