330 ml bottle from the brewery vending machine. Dark copper body, with a big, creamy, beige head.
Aroma of smoked wood, bacon, toast, cocoa, some dark fruits. Tastes similar, with a bit more dark chocolate.
Medium mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation. Finishes quite dry, smokey, wooden, toasty, with some dark chocolate.
Really good, authentic style example. Top notch balance between the smoke, robust malt notes and some sweetness. Really quaffable stuff.

Pours clear dark amber, allmost brown color with one finger of fuzzy off-white head. Smoked bacon and light toast aroma. Beechwood smoke, toast malt and light floral hop bitterness. Light body, medium dry finish.

Draught at the brewpub as Das Legendäre Rauchbier. Lightly cloudy, copper colored. AROMA- pleasantly smoky, bacon, plum, cherry, strawberry, dark berries. FLAVOR- lightly sweet, just slightly bitter, a bit smoky, bacon, berries, touch of bread crusts. Medium bodied. Too light, still tasty.

Bottle from Cuso, thanks! Murky brown color. Apricot, smoky bacon and beechwood in the aroma. Full bodied. Malty sweetish flavor with lots of apricot, beechwood and bacon. Tasty!

Tap at the brewpub, 11th March 19. Pours a cloudy chestnut brown beer, white head. Aroma is mild smoke, meaty. Taste is smoky, roasted malts. Tasty stuff.
