An english-style IPA with earthy, herbal hop notes, well-balanced by bready malt.
Why does the world need another IPA? Because this one ain't like them others. We use hops of a different color, earth and herbal, well-balanced by bready malt. The result? An English-style IPA that separates itself from the ubiquitous bunch.

On tap at The Rake, London. Colour; straw yellow, off-white head. Nose; hay, floral. Taste; grassy, some citrus, faint hops. To be honest I found it boring and dull, I wish I was drinking Brewdog Hardcore IPA or Dogfish head 90minute instead.

(bottle, 35.5cl) Hazy, pale golden colour with a blond and short foamy head. Citric, limey and slightly piney hoppy aroma with a light bready malty background. Bitter-sweet flavour, medium to light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Mildly bready malty base with a good dash of fruity and piney aroma hops, leading into a lasting and moderately bitter finish. Easy-going and pleasant IPA. 04.VIII.10

355ml Bottle from De Bierkoning. Slightly hazy golden orange colour, white head. Aroma of slightly stale hops, a little fruity, light metallic, a bit of caramel. Flavour is light sweet, light fruity, light malty, piney bitterness underneath, caramel, hoppy and slightly metallic bitter finish. Light to medium bodied. Refreshing, easy drinking, but not outstanding.

Bottle @ Beer Temple. Clear golden color, short head. Soft hoppy aroma, bit grassy, bit floral, hint of grain. Soft bitter taste. A bit boring to be honest.

bottle - Pours clear light copper with a two finger white head. The aroma is of earthy and floral hops and malt. It has a light bready malt flavor with moderately strong hops and a lingering bitter finish. Pretty good. They’ve got a 400 lb monkey. I’m waiting for the 800 lb gorilla.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Buy Rite - Jersey City, 6/28/10

Aroma: Nose has some crystal malts, caramel, citrus, orange, and floral notes
Appearance: Slightly hazy golden colored beer with a lasting white head
Flavor: Taste is mildly sweet balanced by a light-medium bitterness to it
Palate: Light to medium in body with a clean, though slightly dull, feel to it
Overall Impression: This is a pretty solid beer. It appears to be well-made and it drinks nicely, I find little if any fault with it, but it just isn't really that exciting to drink either. A well-made but ultimately hardly memorable beer.
