Can at home in Hackney - picked up from Big Tesco. Pours oily black with a dense, cascading creamy beige topping. Sickly sweet, lots of gooey dark sugars, vague bruised banana, toffee, syrup. Full bodied, chewy, with slight carbonation. Lightly warming finish, sticky sweet, a little liquefied banana candy, more sugar syrup. Pretty lazy stuff.

Black, small creamy light brown head. Smells sweet, banana, bit of caramel. Smooth body, quite boozy at the finish, but soft otherwise. Tastes sweet, loads of nana candy, some coffee, bit of chocolate. Not real balanced, but very tasty banana going on.

Deep dark brown, near black, with a fast-diminishing frothy tan head and moucho banana on the nose. Thick and oily, it's banana sweet with some roasted malt and a pronounced slug of alcohol apparent, and a dry finish

Canned 440ml. -from Ambasada Zagreb, shared with hrabren. Black coloured, medium sized brownish head, ripe banana in the nose. Sugary over ripe banana and caramel taste with notes of burnt sugar and alcohol. Artificial, sugary, alcoholic and unpleasant overall.

Can. Tesco. Fridge clear out job. It’s been there for months. Clear dark cola colour. Film of beige head. Some legs. Nose has foam banana sweets. Easter egg chocolate. Some barrel notes. Taste is super sweet, unsurprisingly, but little else by way of balance. Sticky and fairly cloying mouthfeel. Low carbonation. Tooth melting sweetness to finish. I mean there’s plenty of bang to the buck here, but overall it’s just nonsense.

Can from Tesco Supermarket, Salford. Black with a small brown head. Its banana is evident amongst a notable strength in both aroma and taste. Has some caramels too with the barrel ageing decent enough.
