Keg at the Shottle Bop, Bermondsey - great vfm £2.50 for a third, 10/01/15 WE ALL HAD OUR OWN THIRDS !!! Pitch black with a solid dirty tan swirl atop the beer. Nose is dark fruits, malt, dark chocolate, raisens, spice, charr, woody bourbonic fumeage. Taste comprises rich chocolate, vanilla, spice, dark toffee fudge, raisens, dark fruit interlude, trace of black pepper, subtle enough bourbon scrapings. Full bodied, fine and smooth on the palate - light oil slick tickler, warming alcohol in the close. Solid BA Impy - how they should be !
