On tap at the breweries bar inside Markthalle Acht (Bremen) on 19th October 2021, as Malzigers Rotbier. Not even a red hue to the beer (all four of their beers I had looked pretty similar), cloudy amber, white head. Biscuit malts in the nose and taste, some orchard fruits maybe.

Pours from the bottle deep amber to light red. A frothy white head lingers. Aroma is biscuit, caramel, toffee. Taste is sweet with a very mild, crisp bitterness near the end. A vague note of cherry candy lingers afterwards. Body is medium, carbonation is moderate. Süffig! A nice one.

Aus Flasche, gekauft bei Edeka in Bremen. Rot-Braune Farbe ohne Schaum. Geruch nach Malz und Schokolade, süß. Kohlensäurehaltig, relativ dünner Antrunk. Süßlich, hopfig, etwas Karamell im Geschmack. Mittlerer nussiger Abgang
