Can from Honest Brew and my first from Oliver's. Took me a while to find this entry as the cider has no actual name. Pours a very cloudy amber with a sprinkle of foam on top. Aroma is delightful with a fruity ripe apple, apple skins, light caramlisation and some orchard funk. Its very dry on the palate with fruity but slightly dank stewed apple, zesty notes, wood, some alcohol warmth and light spice. Excellent.

Can from The Beerhive. Hazy golden body with a white head that fades. Lively carbonation. Aroma of minerals, rhubarb, straw and a brett-like yeast. Flavour of lemon, cooking apple and funky yeast with a very dry finish. Thin body with a spritzy mouthfeel. Very fizzy. I wanted to love this but I think my cider palette just isn’t developed enough to fully appreciate it.

Can from the interweb somewhere. It pours crystal clear golden - amber with a small fizzy white cap. The aroma is sweet, juicy and ripe upfront, custard apple, apple skin, apple crumble, musty, damp oak, deep funk, leafy, spicy, tangy and a hint of cider vinegar. The taste is crisp, dry, snappy, crunchy, juicy, bright apple, vinous, green apple, hint of acidity, gooseberry, white grape, sherbet, refreshers, bone dry in the middle, dry oak, funk and tannin with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate, fizzy carbonation. Plenty to like about this. Well crafted and balanced. Moreish and flavourful.

330ml can @ my 40th birthday BBQ. Shared with Soph. Murky gold appearance. Aroma has dank juicy apple fruit. Taste is smooth, hazy, fleshy apple fruit, medium in spirit, with an orchard warmth, soft tannic close. Nicely fruity, very good.

Can at home, from Olivers online, 10/04/21. Cloudy orange with a good sized light egg shell white head that soon dissipates to spotting. Nose is bitter sweet apple pulp, orchard wood, light funk, tarte apple. Taste comprises apple skin, orchard wood, tannins, light acidic tones, funk, wooded vibes. Medium bodied, light prickly carbonation, semi drying close. Solid stuff ... best canned cider ever ?
