Das bier paul 10 – India Pale Ale ist eine obergärige, filtrierte Bierspezialität gebraut mit verschiedenen Sorten Aromahopfen und einer ausgewählten Malzmischung. Das rotgoldene Bier entzückt den Biertrinker mit blumigen und citrusfruchtartigen Gerüchen in der Nase. Im Antrunk sind schöne malzige Geschmacknuancen zu erkennen. Eine richtig interessante Überraschung offenbart das Bier mit seiner ausgeprägten, aber schön abgerundeten Bittere im Abgang. Die Betonung der Hopfenaromen in diesem IPA wird durch die Technologie des Hopfenstopfens, auch als Kalthopfung bekannt, erreicht.

Dieser Biertyp wird heute vor allem von amerikanischen Craftbreweries gebraut. Traditionellerweise wurden die India Pale Ales von englischen Brauereien für den Export nach Indien gebraut. Durch die Verwendung von viel Hopfen konnte die Haltbarkeit der Biere verlängert werden. Somit überstanden sie die lange Reise unbeschadet.

From Staubli Getränk shop at Muri "AG". Opening it at home on friday with our home made pizza. A rather light and smooth ipa, on the English way, dry malt, herbal, some bitterness becoming better at the final,, some resineous note, 27.03.22, drinking it at Epalinges.

Sehr leichtes, fruchtiges IPA. Dunkel in der Farbe, geschmacklich Zwetschgennoten und wenig Hopfenbitterkeit. Fast eher wie ein Amber. Trinkt sich aber ausgezeichnet.

ABV: 5.0%. Clear medium yellow orange colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, pale malt, moderate hoppy, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration, fruity hops, pale malt, sweet malt, light floral. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20200408]

Bottle @ Corona Højbjerg tasting. Nice head with god duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, fruits, malt, hops, flowers and has a nice sweet and bitter finish.
