400ml on tap at the Wuppertal Brauhaus. Clear golden amber beer with thin creamy white head. Medium carbonation, light malt nose. Some lacing. Quite light and drinkable despite the ABV. Amazingly similar to Tooth's Old back in Sydney. Typical Vienna lager.

500mml. bottle as part of the European Secret Santa 2017 edition, many thanks to Erzengel for this bottle. Tasted on the 10/02/2018 at home. Clear amber colour with a medium foamy white head. Aroma of caramel, malts and some bread. Taste is sweet caramel malts leading to a slightly vanilla finish. Next one please!

500ml bottle. Minimally milky, slightly faint, amber colour with average, thick, creamy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Mellow malty aroma, a touch of red berries and peanut. Taste is mellow malty, a cautious touch of red fruit, minimally soapy, hoppy overtones; slightly watery. OK.

0.5 l bottle from ’Akzenta’ (Barmen), best before January 2017. Clear, amber with a rather large, very dense, stable, white head. A bit sweetish-malty, quite grassy aroma of straw, a bit of grains and some caramel. Sweetish-malty, slightly grassy taste of caramel, bread, straw and some nuts, followed by a short, slightly bitter, quite grassy, a little metallic finish. Medium body, slightly creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Okay!

Beautiful amber appearance with gold amount of stable foam. Aroma is caramel malts all over the place, hardly any hops. Taste is sweet-malty, very straightforward. Tastes just like a brewery smells when brewing with caramel malt, or like Malzbier :D Really nothing too intense though.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht röstmalzig, fruchtig. Geschmack malzig, fruchtig, metallisch, leicht herb, Karamell.

Bottle. Red amber, creamy head. Spicy, caramel/butterscotch, grassy herbal nose. Medium light body. Light herbal, melonoidin, quick grassy finish, doesn’t quite live up to the aroma.

Clear, deep amber pour with a frothy, 0ff-white head. The aroma is bready with light caramel. The light body has crisp texture with lively carbonation.

Bügelverschlußflasche: Copper coloured, almost clear, creamy off-white head with a good lace, delicate malty-caramelly nose, supported by a shy bitter touch; light to moderate sweetish-bitter flavour, light bodied, creamy MF; sweetish caramelly-toasty finish, followed by a delicate bitterness in the aftertaste. Not a very exciting, but a very well crafted brew…
