We’ve shaken up traditional tastes by brewing a spiced Belgian-style wheat ale with real orange, lemon and lime peels, and then added a little coriander spice to the mix. This uniquely-crafted and award-winning ale is unfiltered to create a brew that is naturally cloudy with a light golden color and a smooth, refreshing finish.

Tap at the Lufthansa lounge in Dulles airport. Light fruity aroma. Milky yellow, white head. Light banana and orange peel, very restrained. Spakly and foamy mouthfeel. Nothing special.

12 ounce bottle from a Wegmans. Poues a hazy peach color with a large frothy head. Fair head retention and lacing. Aroma of pale biscuity malts, citrus and bubblegum. The taste is big citrus notes, pale wheat notes, bubblegum finish. Thin-medium bodied. Not nearly as bad as I expected it to be.

12 oz. bottle. The aroma is mainly orange rind and citrus, with notes of wheat malt, coriander, and cinnamon. The flavor is lemony citrus, sweet and a little tart. The palate is astringent and acidic, a little creamy, with a light bitter finish. Overall, a basic witbier, easy to drink, but nothing special.

Bottled@Monks Café, Wallingatan. Rating from Summer found on the back of a receipt. Hazy yellow colour with a small foamy head. Aroma is lemon, some wheat, mild spices and some earth and yeast as well. Flavour is wheat, quite citrusy along with a slight spicyness and yeastyness to it. Not all that bad.

Aroma is a very pungent orange with some wheat background and some light coriander. Flavor begins with an orange citrus note and moves into a light, watery wheat presence with not much else there. Plus, it has a VERY artificial taste. Nothing about the orange tastes naturally. It’s not bad, (for AB ) but some much better stuff out there. It’s ok if the place you are at doesn’t have much on tap.

Draught. Citric and spicy aroma, lemon and coriander. Cloudy yellow colour. Small stable creamy white head. Mild lemon flavour. Caramel aftertaste. OK mouthfeel, hint of sweetness. Not so flavourful, but refreshing on a hot day.
