Dette er vor traditionelle pilsnerøl. Smagen er fyldigere end andre traditionelle danske pilsnertyper, og Saaz humlen giver en blød og afrundet smag.

Tap@Christianshavns Beboerhus, Copenhagen - clear yellow/gold pour with a medium white foamy head. Doughy biscuity malt, cereal, straw, hay, grassy and floral notes to this. Nice crispness, easy drinking and refreshing, pleasing bitter finish. Wasn’t expecting much but surprisingly decent enough (although having drunk quite a few at 28kr for a stor Fadøl my judgement may of been clouded :-) )

Free on tap at Høkeren bottle shop in Copenhagen. A clear straw gold, white head with a nice crisp refreshing bitterness. A proper classic lager well made but unexciting.

Tap at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen. Poured a crystal clear amber with a round glass hugging head. The aroma is all malt and the flavour is not too dissimilar. It’s medium bitter and a little yeasty too. It’s fine as a thirst quencher, but not much else.

Draft at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen. Pours clear, yellow-gold, effervescent with a weak, white foam head. Big cereal and doughy malt nose. Medium sweet flavor, lightly dry, with tons of crunchy cereal, light sweetness and hay. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Sweet, biscuity finish with more cereal, mild straw and floral bitters. Nice crispy cereal malts here. Very drinkable.

Draught @ Høkeren
Aroma has grassy hops and some grainy malt. Flavour has lots of grainy malt and some grassy hops that linger for a long time. Not a Pale Lager, a German Pilsener I’d say.

(Draught at Örsted Ölbar, Copenhagen, 16 Feb 2012) Golden yellow colour with brief, white head. Malty nose with white bread, tropical fruit and grassy hops. Malty, slightly fruity taste with notes of bread, citrus and grassy hops in a fairly short finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. More or less another ordinary pale lager, possibly with a touch more hop character. Drinkable.
