Pretty clear dark brown beer, small creamy beige head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: malty, soft roast, grains, some caramel, some chocolate, raisins. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: malty start, some alcohol, sweetish, more alcohol, lots of chocolate, caramel malts. Aftertaste: roasted, sweet, alcohol, dried fruits, mocha, dark chocolate, bitter and hoppy, sugary.

440 ml. can. Canned on 11/12/18. Very dark brown going to black little dark mocha head mainly on the sides. Nose is sticky dark fruit with heavy dark soap, mellow candy and something BE but not as expressive as you would expect. Taste is soapy dark fruit, sweet suryp but also not as thick as you would expect heavy prunes, plum, sugar, candy, heavy soapy. Bit strange heavy soap dark fruit almost BE beer but without esters, odd one that doesn’t fully go all the way where it wanted to seemingly go but fair and decent beer.

Can shared at “Some Beers With Jmgreenuk, December ‘18. Dark brown with a ring tan head. Aroma of caramel, malt, toffee, light overripe dark fruits. Flavour is heavy sweet. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

Can at some beers with Jim Green. Dark brown colour, beige head. Aroma of dark fruits, malts, booze, some liquorice. Flavour is medium sweet to sweet, malty, dark fruits, alcohol, liquorice, bittersweet finish. Medium to full bodied.

Bottle at the Jim Green Returns tasting, Zaandam. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a thin off white head. The aroma is rich roasty marshmallow fake sugar. The flavour is moderate sweet with a rich sweet, light fruit boozy palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Can shared at John’s back tasting. Very dark reddish brown with dark beige head. Milk chocolate, roast, thick sweet malts, sugary, fake chocolate, light herbs and booze. Quite sweet and over medium bitter. Full bodied.
