330ml can @ Christmas tasting in Blackhaddock's beer cave. Deep brown pour, tan topping. Sweet toffee & maple syrup nose. Dark marzipan and toffee coming through well on the palate, nice sweet shades. Lovely beer.

Can. Dark brown. Coffee, toffee, caramel, vanilla, alcohol, hazelnuts. Quite sweet, over medium bitter. Yup, a pastry barley wine.

Can. Purchased from Holland and the import pre dates the invasion of Ukraine. Sorry guys but no more purchases from me until you kick out your psychopath leader. Clear but very deep amber - brown beer, good tan head. Nose of malts and a kinda smoky unsweet maple. Palate is airy, semi dry and has decent fine carbonation. Fluffy malts but with a light creamy sweetness and a much stronger dark toffee vibe. The maple also comes in strong but has a dark intensity that eschews the sweet cloying character that would normally ensue from this much of it. Some ripe fruits and a boozy brandy vibe before a alcohol spicy finish. Quite an intense and interesting barleywine.

Can at home, Nivala. Canned 29.01.2021. Color is clear brown with very small strange yellowish white head. Aromas and flavors: Coffee, some ripe fruits, cacao, malts... very heavy but little bit of unbalanced.

Can picked up from somewhere, forgot where. Consumed at Wohnmobil Stellplatz Bernau, Mr Chiemsee, Friday 28th May 2021 sat outside Frank camper, we had an excellent Chilli con Carne for tea tonight. Deep brown with a ruby glint and a swiftly departing head The nose displays dark sticky fruits, dates, figs, sultanas etc along with some weak coffee and toffee. Very sweet coffee shows here also a little toffee, surprised that it seems a little thin for the abv, its ok but I expected more.
