Sampled between brewver and ratebeer, so not much specific notes were taken. This one tasted really 'Belgian'. They told me they used NE style yeast, but it really taste more like abbey yeast to me.. Anyway, hops ( tropical notes, specifically ) arent nearly as pronounced as they should be in this style. Also the creamy body isn't there ( at all ) nor is it that soft in bitterness… Not sure why this would be catagorized as a NEIPA, but after talking to them about it ( recently) they still seem convinced of their beer to really be a NEIPA... I'm not. At all.
