Growler-like bottle in a small convenience store in Ankara, Turkiye. Pours cloudy dark yellow with a foamy off-white head, acidic malt aroma, high carbonation, medium bitter malty taste with hay like flavor, thin body, long finish. Not bad.

Litre swing-top growler in Sofia - picked up at the Russian shop in the Paradise shopping centre. Pours unclear orange-gold with a frothy, off-white head. Fairly sweet, a little honey, maybe ginger, sugary grains, pale bread, low bitterness. Light bodied with average carbonation. Sweet finish, more grains, a ginger spice more. Interesting, maybe odd, just about drinkable.

Appearance: Cloudy deep gold with a large off-white frothy head of good retention. Aroma: Grain, straw, hay, yeast, fruity and spicy notes. Taste: Light sweet and bitter, malty, bready. Grain, hay, yeast, grassy hop. Hoppy aftertaste. Mouth feel: Light to medium body. Average carbonation. Summary: Nothing special. Just drinkable.
