Bottle shared by Shiggy Shig! Twenty ounces all to myself.
Lowball. Intentionally still, what's with the resealable cage?
Filtered, medium amber beverage.
Smells bittersharp, gum, spiced rum & cider vinegar sourness.
Taste is cooked/caramelized sharp & sweet apples, mulled red wine, touch of popsicle stick, soft wild funk - probiotic apple cider vinegar twang on the tail. Is it turning or is it intentional? Full flavored but a touch sweet to be without enough complimentary astringency.
Thin but a little sugary, acidy, medium tart, medium-low tannins, easy for the listed abv.
Kinda good.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers! Aroma of woody sweet apples and a hint of funk and spice. The oak and the whiskey is subtle in the taste which is quite sweet. Nice.

Sample, thanks to Grumbo. Misty orange pour. Good, fine carbonation, not hugely fruity or sweet but possesses a pleasant natural feel, quite dry with a gentle tang seeing you off. Nice.

2/3/2022. Bottle from the cidery's stall at Bury St Edmunds Christmas Fayre. Pours clear dark gold with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of moderately sweet apples, light wood, sugary stewed apple, slight funky edge. Medium sweetness, light tartness. Moderate body, light carbonation. Drying finish with a little of the whisky barrel coming through. Subtle, quite liked it.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Golden colour, afew short-lived bubbles on top and aroma of apple, woody oak, alittle funk. Taste is sweetish, apple, fruity, with alittle sharp solventy funk, and some woody notes. Medium bodied, low carbonation, medium-dry finish. Quite drinkable.
