330ml bottle from the brewery. Poured almost black in colour with a very short-lived fizzy tan head that dissipated in less than 5 seconds. The aroma is big coconut, oaky, boozy bourbon. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a rich, smooth, roasty, molasses, light liqourice, chocolate, light warm alcohol bitter palate. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation.

330ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, Feb 22. Thanks Mike for this one. Pours dark, medium deep tan head. Lovely coconut and chocolate introduction on the nose. Smooth, full-bodied and decadent on the palate with lovely caramel and chocolate coming through alongside a confident coconut presence melding nicely. A light lick of vanilla and perhaps a hint of coffee on the finish. Presented very well.

Bottle care of my bro. It pours darkest brown with a dissipating khaki head and coconut floaters! The aroma is bitter - sweet, intoxicating, vanilla, toasted coconut, bourbon soaked oak, toffee, fudge, roasted malt, damp earthen floor, roasted malt and some dark fruit. The taste is rich roasted malt, bitter - sweet, umami, liquorice, charred oak, bourbon, toasted coconut, chocolate, bounty bar, vanilla cake frosting, toffee, fudge, boozy kick, toasted spice, toothy and sticky, dried fruits and fruit cake with a rich, warming finish. Fulsome body, fine carbonation and sticky mouth feel. Fun stuff. Could be done with more condition though.
