Mixed Fermenation Grisette with Saaz and Mandarina Hops, Riesling Grapes & Honey.

This is little mixed fermentation beer is a part of my continuous search of the sense of place and finding new avenues for expressing seasonal and local flavours in beer. A crispy little reminder of seizing opportunity every day to experience simple, perhaps even whimsical and too often unexpected joys around us. This grisette is built completely from local organic ingredients. It was hopped very generously with Saaz and Mandarina and complimented with just a dash of Riesling grapes. After long conditioning it was then bottled with local honey for that lively effervescence. Enjoy it preferably fresh but it will continue to evolve in the bottle for many moons on. Na zdraví!

Ingredients: water, barley malt, emmer, red wheat, hops, grapes, honey, sugar.

Tap (!) at Falkon's 10th anniversary b-day bash, drinking in the rain, literally rushing out in the rain. Sweetish linden aroma backed by lean creamy maltiness and light peppery phenolic touches. Tart herbal, citric, lightly funky taste, light orange, slightly tart, but not too much. Great stuff, fresh!

Pours clear, lemongold. Meidum sized, very stable hite head. Scent is very full, raw farmhouse style grains, yet possesses some elegance. Taste is fairly full. mild tartness, some honey aspects. Gentle maltyness, yet a bit raw - and elegant at the same time. Very interesting, easy drinkin' session beer. Not bad at all. Mild bitterness in the finish.
