Sur cette Double IPA, c’est le houblon néo-zélandais « Nelson Sauvin » qui est mis à l’honneur. Depuis longtemps un de nos houblons préférés avec ses notes qui rappellent le cépage Sauvignon Blanc, on lui dédie cette DIPA en compagnie de son compère Mosaic.

Draught@TCBW2023. Hazy yellow colour, small white foamy head. Aroma is floral, fruity, some mild grainy and sweet malts to it. Flavour is mild oaty tones with some fruits, floral and mild nectary tones. Mild hop burn to it.

Notater fra en hyggelig kveld på Cardinal, Mi2, hvor vi som vanlig starter med en del fatøl. Uklar skittengul med fint skum som varer. Honningmelon, aprikos, granskudd og lyse tropiske frukter. Mild bitterhet og deilig ettersmak. Myk og sjarmerende, så der er mange fornøyde fjes rundt bordet akkurat nå!

On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger. Hazy yellow colour, large to moderate white head. Aroma of pine, spruce, grapefruit / citrus and tropical fruits, apricot. The flavour has the same elements, decent bitterness. Good beer!

On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours hazy cloudy golden with white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, pine needles, some malty notes. Tastes slightly sweet with balancing bitterness. Medium bodied, alcoholic warmth.

can 8.0% Regard Complice Nelson Sauvin Mosaic. quite mild aroma but very hoppy nevertheless, good grapefruity notes, also sweetness from malts.green grapes. Full bodied double ipa flavor, high in bitterness which is grapefruity mainly, also a more syruppy or honey like flavor sweetening the hops. palate is very thick for an ipa. the beer feels and tastes like a heavy beer, a lot of power, alc. well hidden but the flavor hints high abv by its massiveness. a bit too bittersweet for my preferences
