330ml bottle. Opalescent, brown colour with ruby shimmer and average to huge, thick, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, beige head. Earthy, spicy, fruity and slightly hoppy aroma, notes of raspberry, corresponding shrubs, some orange, minimally toasty and nutty, dark malty background. Taste is earthy fruity, slightly toasty and nutty dark malty, slightly fruity hoppy, notes of raspberry, toasted nuts, some lemon and orange. Watery texture, smooth and minimally astringent palate, fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Nice composition, nice tension between earthy and fresh aspects - good.

Süffiger, dunkel malziger Beginn mit deutlichem Himbeeraroma. Süffig, dennoch intensiv, milde Herbe, trocken. Würzig, zunehmend trocken, mittellanger Abgang. Gut. 10/11/12/10/9/11

Brown with a frothy head. Roast grain and caramel aroma. The raspberry is there, but fairly subtle, and it’s probably for the better. Taste is bittersweet and well balanced with increasing tartness at the finish, which is where the raspberries come into their own and finally take the upper hand. Medium-bodied, moderate to mild carbonation. Manages to be both a little dessert-like and a little refreshing. No sign of the alcohol. Good!

33cl bottle. A clear orange brown beer with a beige head. Aroma of grassy hops, raspberries, ripe dark fruits. Taste of mild raspberries, riped fruts, mild sweetness, some bitterness.

Bottle picked up from Bierothek, Bamberg and consumed at home Sunday 3rd April 2022 listening to Prinz Thomas 8+9 - Broken Hearts & Beauty Sleep, we have Massaman Meatballs with a Vegetable Curry for tea this evening. Pours dark reddish brown with an off white head, raspberries were a little muted at first but then their shyness disappeared and they occupy a nice middle ground with the typical Dubbel flurries, a little dark sugar, slightly tart edge (raspberry again I guess) the DDH works to a degree but I am unsure of the benefits in this style. However all things considered this is a nice take on this style.

Bottle. Lighrt hazy red chestnut, low offwhite head. Nice Fruity/berry, roast, belgian funk nose. Medium to full body, lightly fizzy. Berry forward, clayish, somewhat astringent, light melanoidin, roast, maybe a bit too young, I could imagine the flavors mesh better together after a year or so.
