Bottle @ home. Slightly unclear reddish amber body under a small, lacing beige head. Aroma has malt, oak, red berries, some dry fruit and red wine. Taste has sweet malt in fine combination with acidic red berries, oak, hint of caramel, more acid and vinous. Balanced body, nice fruit and acid with a slight bitter finish. Nice and pleasant with complexity.

7-3-8-4-16 Bottle, #266, 15 months after bottling. Pours slightly hazy dark mahogany, with a big creamy off white head. Aroma is acetic with red wine vinegar, nuts and leathery notes, as well as bretty notes of wood and dark berries. Full body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is acetic notes of wine vinegar, tannins, nuts and tobacco, as well as dark berries, fruit pits and bretty minerals. Lingering astringent finish. Takes some warming up, but gets better for every sip, and has a quaffable smoothness.

Bottle, 375cl corked. A lightly hazy copper colored beer with a beige head of moderate size. Nice lacing. Fruity-sour aroma with dried fruits, caramel notes, hints of alcohol, some wood notes and vinegar. It's full-bodied, lightly warming and with a nice carbonation. Dried fruits, sour fruits, vinegar and alcohol, hints of wood, some caramel and a touch of green vegetables in the flavor. Long sour, fruity finish with some pleasant caramel maltyness. Quite delicious. 200912
