Sort med brunt, boblete topp som daler raskt. Aroma; lakrisrot, malt, karamell, dadler, fatlagret. Smak; malt, bourbon, lakris, eik, alkohol, Spandert av Djoeye, delt med Leif og Djoeye.

Poured from 330mL bottle (bb 04.11.2024). Very dark brown with minimal beige head. Dark fruits, mild dry bitter roast, don't feel like the eisbocking of this adds much of anything (the base beer is just okay). Average.

Bottle from Alehub. Black with a dark brown head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, smoked, dark chocolate and light red wine. Flavor is quite sweet and sloghtly acidic. Dry and slightly acidic finish. 280923

330mL bottle, pours jet black with a medium dark brown head. Aroma is intense, with lots of molasses, deep dark cocoa, and a touch of iodine. Flavour is much the same and is absolutely intense, with lots of iodine, medium roasted malt, light saline, molasses, and very dry cocoa. Finishes bitter, with saline, deep roast and iodine. Not exactly a work of art -- pretty brutal. Not a refined beer, but it's a fun extreme one.

Black with thin dark creamy head. Aroma is very intense with soy, liquorice and forest fruits. Flavour quite sweet with booze soaked dried fruits.

On tap at Borefts 2022. Black beer thin tan head. bit dirty. aroma is fine but it's quite thick and powerful. bit of liquorice. intense. tarry oily. hides abv pretty well but it packs a punch. taster was enough.

Borefts XII Day 2. Cheers Ian. Opaque dark brown beer, small dark tan head. Smooth palate, modest fine carbonation. It's fairly dry but also very slightly gritty feeling. Rich dark malts, but sweet, some licorice. Spicy boozy dry finish. This is an odd affair, something gone wrong with the ice bocking?
