Brewed as an homage to a timeless classic, our latest IPA takes more influence from old school West Coast IPAs in its hop profile, clean yeast character and amped up bitterness. Golden promise and crystal malt, plus a little wheat malt for body, create a baseline with a hint of sweetness to balance out the heavy hopping. Single hopped with 100% Centennial in whole hop, t90 and cryo in all stages of the brew, this beer has a huge floral hop aroma and tongue-tingling bitterness that lingers after each sip. Fermented out to 7% with WLP001 California ale yeast, giving a clean flavour and balanced roundness as a platform for the Centennial to shine through.

Keg at Mother Kelly's - Bethnal Green. Pours mostly clear orange-gold with a dense, creamy, off-white head. The nose has a lot of dank pine, melon, grapefruit, pale bread and papaya. Medium sweet flavour with some boozy body, supportive bready malts, lots ofnoily pine, ripening citrus fruits. Medium to full bodied, lightly chewy, with fine to average carbonation. Resinous, sticky, and lightly warming in the finish, with gooey pine, very slightly toasted pale malts, a little honey, some tropical accents. Well, MR nailed the West Coast throwback style. To be fair, this was a lot of fun. Nice to take a step back in time.

Keg @ Friends Of Ham, Leeds. Glowing amber with a bubbly-frothy head. It has a bubble-gum and caramel sweetness to it, but only the latter in its aroma.

Keg at HL1, 09/03/18. Very light haze on a golden orange pour with a well presented egg shell white head. Nose is citric zest, fresh hop, floral aroma, grass, melon, lychee, mandarin. Taste comprises light pine resin, perfumed, nectarine, soft breads, floral notes, citric drizzle,. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with flora hop bitterness. Decent enough IPA if a touch sweet.
