330ml bottle. Jet black colour with minimally late awakening, small, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, beige to tan head. Sweet-ish, roasty, chocolately, dark malty aroma, notes of coffee, a touch of treacle, caramel, chocolate. Taste is roasty, chocolately, slightly bitter and minimally sweet, dark malty, intense notes of coffee, hints of dark chocolate, a touch of caramel and treacle. Viscous, creamy texture, super-soft, smooth palate, fine, soft carbonation. Rather simple, focussed, but balanced and harmonious - good!

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max's place. Thanks Max & Stas. Opaque black. Lots of coffee, a bit green, licorice, roast, soy sauce, dark fruits, a bit of ash, boozy.

Bottle. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy dark tan head. Dark aroma of biscuit, malt, lactose and chocolate, with touches of yeast. Bitter, roasty flavour with sweetish notes of malt, chocolate, lactose and yeast. Hints of fruit. Bitter, roasty aftertaste with estery hints and touches of malt. Well-balanced and not too sweet. A nice one.

Bottle, 10.5%. Distinct roasted coffee aroma with a hint of yeast. Black colour. Small frothy light brown head. The flavour has some coffee and more yeast. Roasted and earthy with a touch of salt liquorice. Thin mouthfeel for the ABV. Spicy finish.

330ml bottle. Pours dark brown small tan head. Aroma has brittle, crisp bitter coffee beans, biscuit. Taste is slick with a heavy coffee presence, cold brew coffee, milk chocolate, drying close. Quite a confident coffee presence. Could do with a bit more malt body but otherwise a good coffee RIS.

Slowly receding dark tan head over jet-black beer. Pure (cold) coffee, extremely intense, but unfortunately to the detriment of anything else. Sweet cold coffee in the mouth, mocha, mokka éclairs, roast coffebeans... yeah, that's it. Well-bodied, slick, medium carbonation. One definitely has to like coffee for this one. Subtility is wasted here. 6/4/7/3/13
