0.33 l can from 'Beerdome', canned in October 2022. Almost clear, deep reddish amber with a thin, foamy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish-malty, quite smoky aroma of caramel, smoked eel, leaves, some sauerkraut and a touch of nuts. Quite sweet, malty, gently bitter, rather smoky taste of caramel, smoked eel, leaves, nuts, sauerkraut and toasted grains, followed by a short, gently bitter, a little dry finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Tasty Rauchmärzen but nowhere near a Schlenkerla.

Pours a clear amber colour and a small white head with little retention. Aroma's: bready malts, subtle smoke. More smokey retronasal with malts and light hops. Flavour is light moderate sweet, doughy. Light medium bodied. Finishes with light bitterness. Lager Lager Lager!

Can. Color: Clear brownish amber, frothy off-white head. Aroma: Malty, smoky, notes of smoked meat. Taste: Malty, caramel, smoke. Hoppy background. Very light citrus hints. Moderate to over moderate sweet, light to moderate bitter. Medium body, average carbonation. Nice and easy drinkable, although I like the aroma a little more than the taste.
