Cask @ Diggers, Edinburgh [280213]
Amber, clear, dense white head, good lacing
Aroma of light hoppy pale fruits
Taste of soft citrus hops, soft zest, fairly fruity light pale malts, touch of lemon, although its fairly generic - it’s pretty decent
Palate - Medium body. Finish as main flavour
Overall - Above average fairly hoppy golden ale - I thought it was rather good

Cask. Pours a deep golden with a slight haze and an off-white head leaving quite some lacework. Biscuity, malty nose. Light body, very low carbonation, fruit, butter and a slight whiff of mold - doesn’t really appear all that fresh. Rather solid hop bite in the finish. 190111

From cask at Charlies. Pours clear and golden yellow to orange with a small white head. Aroma is peachy to citrusy, light grassy to herbal hops. Bitter and mild peachy/citrusy. A bit herbal and dry. Quite bitter and fruity finish.

Cask handpull at County Hotel JDW Ashford. Gold, slight haze with lasting ivory head. Some ok grapefruit hop. Ok in mouth. Quite a decent beer. Touch too cold. Touch of tea. Otherwise ok.

A rereshing ale with lots of juicy hop fruitiness but isn’t overly bitter. A very pleasant beer to have with food.

Half pint, 4.3% ABV, cask at Barony Bar in Edinburgh. Patchy surface over a slightly cloudy golden body. Aromatic with an inviting fruity touch. Tropical and passion fruits in flavour followed by an herbal bitter ending. Medium bodied. Paired well with the food which was something else than haggis, 01.12.2010.

@ Playfair, Edinburgh. Golden with a thin head. Leafy, herbal hop character with fruity nuances. On the palate, it’s a bit toasty, again with fruity nuance. Good clean bitter.

Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm. Hazy deep golden. Spicy hay-like hops strike hard. Very dry with light body and lovely chewy vital malt character. Almost aggressive chalky bitterness. Lovely drinking beer, though perhaps the bitterest bitter I’ve had.
