Bottle at home. Lusta módon csak bemásolom ide az ut kommentem, mert többé-kevéssé informatív azért: a tipushoz kepest vekony, nem kifejezetten markans, meg lehetne intenzivebb. a fahej-csili osszhang jo, pedig amugy szerintem a kapszaicin kurvara nem illik sorbe.

Bottle at home. Black pour with a brown/ruby hue and a quickly dissipating head. Nose is intense cinnamon, some chili heat, whiskey (and booze in general), a touch of vanilla. Taste is sweet and spicy, it shows some chocolate, cinnamon, booze and coffee with a whiskey and chili finish. Medium bodied, a big boozy, the carbonation is soft to average. Not bad, but it’s no big deal either.

Cellared from 2022. Dark brown almost black with a surprisingly large, tan head. Aroma is chocolate and cinnamon. Slightly sweet with just a tad of heat with chocolate and cinnamon flavors.

Bottle 355ml @ Home. Pours almost black with a beige head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, cinnamon, coffee, caramel and some spices. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long roasted, cinnamon, light chili spicy, chocolate, caramel and coffee finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft

12oz bottle from Brewers Haven. Black pour, patchy beige head with ring. Aroma is roasty malts, chilis and cinnamon. Peppers bring quite a snap to the taste, sweet chocolate and vanilla, savory cinnamon. Heat from the chilies, not from the ABV. Not much rye barrel present, however it might be joined up with the peppers behind the scenes for an overall spiciness.

12 ounce bottle from Ridgeview Liquor, shared at the Nov. 2022 P.S. tasting, 11/12/22. Dark brown, medium tan head, good retention. Aroma of toast, graham crackers, roast, cinnamon, vanilla, cherry. Taste is cinnamon, roast, vanilla, pepper. Full bodied, mild booze. Well balanced. Very nice. My favorite of the tasting, and probably my highest New Holland rating. [CHECKS] Yes, it is.

30th May 2022; Shrewsbury Beer Share Evening in Chez Sophie. Five guys enjoying themselves. 330ml bottle (2022 V1). Black body tanned foaming head. Really enjoyed the aroma and flavours of this brew, thought the Rye might put me off, but it didn't, the other ingredients giving the beer a great boozy overall taste.

330ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, May 22. Black pour with deep tan head. Intense aroma of vanilla and cinnamon. All flavours presented nicely to taste, big flavourful character, smooth vanilla, with a nice chilli kick. Ace.

The aromas are dark malt, spice, floral and a bit of roast. Flavors are a lot like nose, on the sweet side, don't know where the floral comes in but it's there. Barest hint of whiskey. Not much vanilla or it's very subtle. Good beer in any case. Very smooth. Don't know if it would benefit from aging.
