Can picked up from Buxton online shop, Derbyshire had this at Isobel's, Spond, Kington, Herefordshire Wednesday 4th May 2022 after a great Fish Pie made by Isobel. Pours dark brown/black with an off white mid sized sticky head. Some hops, roasted malts and citrus on the nose. Tremendous BIPA that has a lovely bitterness, light roastiness and with great grapefruit citrussy streak. Walked around the field drinking this, it's lovely.

Can at home, night before Vegas, 17th February 2022. Pours almost black, aroma is citrus fruit, rich, cocoa, roasted malts. The flavour is a black replica of the original Axe Edge, citrus, grapefruit and roasted malts, really well done and delicious

Tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours dark brown, with limited brown foam. Aroma is a weird mix of toasted, herbal, and a little chocolate. Body is average, with moderate carbonation. Taste is medium bitter. Final is long and bitter. Overall, not entirely convincing.

440ml can. Black with a beige head. Aroma of pine, citrus, chocolate/roast malt. Taste is hop forward, fruity, grapefruit, pineapple, pine, dark chocolatey malts and a hint of roast, a very strong bitter (hoppy) finish. A brilliant BIPA.
