Jan. ’16. A 0.33 l bottle from Mali Ducan, Split. It poured only a bit hazy yellow body with a big head. Coriander, light lemon and grass aroma. Flavor was only lightly sweet, pleasantly fruity towards the end, especially lemon, apple and almonds. Spicy, with lots of coriander, also a bit sour. Medium bodied with moderately long, fruity and fine finish. Quite a fine Belgian ale, not stellar, but almost in the direction I like them.

(Bottle, Delirium Café, Brussels, 18 Oct 2015) Golden yellow colour with dense off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with peaches, pineapple, bready malt and grassy hops. Malty, fruity taste with notes of tropical fruit, bread, marzipan, peaches and a balanced spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Quite nice.

Clear deep golden colour, two finger off-frothy white head, half-way lasting, good lacing. Aroma is sweet malts, yeast, subdued fruitiness, candy sugar, light honey. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter, malty, sugary. Medium body, sticky texture, average carbonation, aftertaste sweetbitter, alcohol, spicy notes. Decent blond but a tad too sweet and in need of a bit more bitterness, decent.

Draught @ Le Trappiste, Brugge. Pours clear golden with airy white head. Clear aroma of fruit and flowers, with notes of malt. Bitter onset (why??), leading to sweet notes of fruit and caramel malt. Rather dry finish, with some sweetish notes towards the very end. Quite out of balance. Drinkable, though.

330mL bottle. Pours a yellow gold, frothy billowy white head, no lacing. Aroma of bread, hay, freshly cut grass, some barnyard qualities, same in the flavor. Finish is short and leaves a bland, old bubblegum flavor.
